Microsoft wants you using Windows 10, like it or not

According to Microsoft[1], if a user confirms the Windows 10[2] update, they will have 30 days to roll it back to Windows 7 or 8.1 which should put things back to the way they were before with all files and settings intact.

Reports stated that most users feel more in control when using previous Windows versions.

A company spokeswoman confirmed that the Windows 10 upgrade is reaching customers' systems. "We're working on a fix for this but as a workaround, you can run the following in Command Prompt with administrative rights: "schtasks /delete /TN "\Microsoft\Windows\WS\WSRefreshBannedAppsListTask" /F. This issue will be fixed in the next build.

This means, if your Windows Update settings automatically install recommended items (the default setting) you should probably expect Windows 10 to make itself at home on your machine.

Microsoft has now gone ahead with plans to reclassify Windows 10 as a recommended update.

Again, this is nothing new, as all the recent preview builds have been about tinkering with the underlying code of Windows rather than adding much in the way of new features.

Microsoft will support Windows 7 until 2020 and Windows 8 until 2023, after which time it will stop fixing any security problems.

Similar to the cat, the monkey is here to celebrate the Windows Insider program, but it's also born on a special occasion: it comes just in time for the Chinese New Year, so it celebrates the Year of the Monkey. Getting Windows 10 shouldn't affect your photos and other documents, though there's always a risk of a meltdown with any major upgrade. You can use an online storage service such as OneDrive or DropBox to keep a backup online.

So there you go, we have a ninja cat and a ninja monkey. Your files should be OK, but you'll lose any apps installed after upgrading to Windows 10. But even though Microsoft said Windows 10 is running on more than 75 million computers worldwide, some people are still uncomfortable with change.

Whi le noting that "no browser implements every [web] standard", Weber said that Microsoft aims to "find the right approach to implementing new web standards features that may undergo rapid evolution, potentially causing unneeded turbulence for web developers".

Doctor Says Late NFL Great Ken Stabler Had CTE[3]
Among the over 100 names that have now been diagnosed: Junior Seau , Mike Webster and former Giants great Frank Gifford . It's not clear why some football players develop CTE and others do not, but playing career length may be a factor.
