Microsoft Lumia 650 is said to be a business phone[1] which will sport a 5-inch screen, 8GB storage, 8MP camera and 1GB RAM. If you have been eyeing Lumia 950 or Lumia 950 XL[2] for its operating system, Windows 10, then Microsoft Lumia 650 is something you would like to give a shot. It is going to be a budget Windows 10 phone. Being a budget p hone, do not expect the phone to be packed with high-end features. You may have to compromise on a few features and specs that almost all high-end phones of 2016 are packed with.
It is surprising to hear that even after Microsoft's latest flagship phones, Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL, did well, the company has decided not to manufacture the Lumia line of phones anymore. Why? What can be the reason? First, with Windows 10 we can say that Microsoft is looking forward to a complete make-over. The brand is slowly replacing the old with the new. It is applying the same strategy to Lumia handsets.
It is true that compared to old Lumia phones, the Windows 10 phones got a good response, but still, it was not as good as what Apple or Samsung enjoys. Lumia's market is still limited. To take the legacy of Windows 10 and Surface devices forward, Microsoft might have decided to put an end to Lumia handsets and give Surface phones a try.
