There are many stock Microsoft apps that are part of Windows 10, and the Movies & TV app is just one of a few. The app which allows you to get the latest entertainment in one simple, fast and elegant interface is about to get an update.
The new release to the Movie & TV app, 3.6.1694.0, will include several changes. The personal video gallery will now include sharper thumbnails, and a "date added" sort. Secondly, the TV and Movie galleries will now both feature personalized recommendations. There are also several performance changes which will bring a better experience, including better-downloaded error messages for low disk space, and metadata fading when you pause a video.
